The CAC Board has voted to lower the 2009 family fee from $85 to $75. The family fee is derived much like property taxes. The Board first looks at the 2009 budget before determining how much money is needed for the family fee. After stellar fundraising and cost cutting efforts in 2008, the Board determined it could cut the 2009 family fee. There is no guarantee the family fee will not need to be increased in future years.

Sports surcharge: In the spirit of full disclosure the 2008 CAC Board has decided to present more detail than in previous years. In the past the "Sport Fee" encompassed a "surcharge" which was based on a particular sports disproportionate usage of fields and facilities. As presented here, the Sport Fee is lower than in previous years and the Surcharge is broken out and presented separately. You are paying the same fee.
